After finishing a Metals course at Plymouth College of Art I then started working in trade work-shops on the South Coast as a jobbing jeweller, doing repairs, ring re-sizing and alterations. The next step was a move to Wimborne where I was resident jeweller at Walford Mill Crafts, where I had my own studio and developed various collections, and enjoyed taking on commission work. It was here I started to teach, then at Bournemouth and Poole College and The Arts University in Bournemouth. Where I ran a successful evening class for recreational silver jewellery students.
Major events led to a change of location four years ago to the place where I now reside, Portland.
My silver jewellery is inspired by the natural coastal environment in which I live and also by pattern and design that catches my eye.
Alongside my own work, I teach jewellery classes 1:1 and online and also love to design and create one-off commissions from pre-loved jewellery for others to be handed down to future generations.
